The purpose of this was so I can then later i cant analyse my results and then apply the results given to me in my film production. I used a programme called survey monkey in order to produce my survey.

My Focus group
My focus group consisted of 3 male class mates. They sat down and watched my trailer carefully and analysed its contents and its key elements. After watching my trailer they then carefully looked at my ancillary tasks of the SHIFTED poster and the Total Trailers film magazine. I then gave them a set questions to answer.
What are your first thoughts on the trailer?
Hadi: well my first thoughts on the trailer we're how you made it look as professional as possible and how much of an effort you have put into this piece of trailer.
Shakir: I very much like how you have represented your characters and the role they plan in the trailers. Especially how Hugo keeps his mood in place.
Jurgen: The first thing I noticed is how you have kept the trailer simple yet very effective. I also like the use of props you have implemented on the characters like Hugo.
Shakir: I like the way how you have made good use of the camera shots and movements such as the pan of Hugo. I think when you used that particular pan movement It really introduced me to Hugo very well.
Hadi: yeah same here, I like the fact how you have made the camera a bit shaky when it comes to the scene where Hugo grabs hold of John just before the clip ends. I think that bit makes it very genuine in terms of the camera movements and i feel very engaged and part of the trailer.
Jurgen: Yeah I think my favorite part was when you used the CCTV effect. I think that looked very genuine and professional.
What are your thoughts on the use of props?
Jurgen: I think the you have made good use of the props especially on Hugo. I think the red scarf and the full black coat and hat. I think you have followed the style of conventions well.
Hadi: Yeah however I think the props used on john and Scott have not been thought out well and i think you could have used more colour on those two characters compared to Hugo because the audience will have difficulty on who is the goodie or the baddie
Shakir: I think the Shifted poster looks highly professional and looks amazing i didn't think i student would produce this much of high quality work it looks fantastic.
Jurgen: I agree with Shakir. I like the fact how you have put this line down the middle of the poster I think you have established well to the audience who's in the dark side. Very good use of effects I'm impressed.
