Similar Product Research

My Similar Product research will be based on action/adventure trailers. So in order to get a feel of how the genre of action works and is constructed within the film world, so I have decided to look at several action trailers which I was able to analyse. However bear in mind that I obviously will not be able to get the same props/settings/lighting and technology as which these have trailers have acheived.

Here are some of the trailers that I think have really inspired me to carry on with this project.

Media Trailer Synopsis.

Trailer Synopsis

The film begins when two friends named John and Scott [who have just retired from the CIA] are walking through the park. Until a man in a trenched coat sitting on a nearby bench in the park calls John on his mobile annonmyously. John Then picks up and asks who it is. The man in the trenched coat named Hugo who is also part of unknown organisation named Sector 3 then asks them to to pickup a breifcase near a bin. John then nervously asks Hugo why hes calling him. Hugo then tells John that hes from an organisation named sector 3. Scott then asks John to end the call and ignore it. John then decides to end the call and decides not to pickup the breifcase

The Reason for my selection

Why I had chosen to do a Trailer.

In order for my A2 project to be effective I wanted to work on something that I can commit to and something that I can accomplish in time without any  difficulties. The teacher then gave us the breif for the everyone in the class to look at and to decide roughly what each of us we're going to do.

Then for each breif I tried to picture my self for each breif. So for example i tried to picture my self in my head making a games package and that seemed too difficult for me reason being is because im not a very good and keen drawer. So for each one i did the same thing and tried picturing myself until it got to the trailer option .I was also excited about this project because I had a rough idea what this project was going to look like once it was finished. It was also something new that I can get on with and most importanly another area of media that I can yet again explore for myself.
